Qaqsoss (Fox)

A mixed media concept developed from an initial digital sketch into a final canvas painting and sculptural display piece. This work explores the duality of animals through both realism and woodland-inspired stylization, representing their inner wisdom and spiritual presence. The fox was chosen as a meaningful subject due to its presence around my reserve, while the white fox was intentionally used to create stronger visual contrast within the composition. The final piece was displayed on canvas and framed with hand-sculpted clay trees, blending realistic and woodland forms to extend the narrative beyond the painting itself.
